Kaze no Ie
500 to 600 bottles of wine is constantly in stock. The different types of wine helps you enjoy the wonderful varieties of dishes on the menu. When Nozawa Onsen hosted the Interski Congress in 1995, it is said that foreign athletes frequented this restaurant.
The owner intends to keep Kaze no Ie "a pleasant little place that you may find during a leisurely walk." Thus the restaurant does not answer phone inquiries. The restaurant is located near Oyu.
Atarashiya
The locals will agree to Atarashiya being one of the best in chicken and eel dishes. One of their most popular dishes is the yakitori (skewered barbecued chicken) on rice with a blend of their sweet sauce. Atarashiya's eel dishes are prepared with fresh eel.

The homemade noodle restaurant is open only during the winter season and is quite popular among skiers. The noodles are made out of wild burdock leaves which give the noodles a mild taste.
