Yachiyo Main Shop　 This old shop, in Okazaki Park, serves traditional Hatcho miso dishes. The grilled tofu with Hatcho miso paste and Japanese pepper on a bamboo stick is very delicious. The Dengaku lunch set, with Hatcho miso, soup, rice cooked with vegetables, and pickles, costs 1250 yen. Bizenya This shop makes the famous Okazaki sweets awayuki. It makes the simple pure white awayuki, known Since olden times in such variations as tea, cherry brandy, and coffee. Fumido　 This is a spice and preserve shop. Food such as seafood or meat is boiled down in soy sauce to make the preserves. The shichimi spice, a red pepper, comes in various levels of hotness according to your taste.
