Shizuoka Festival (early April)
It features a Cherry Blossom Big Parade. It remembers the cherry blossom viewing, conducted by Tokugawa Ieyasu (a founder of the Yedo Shogunate Government) in the early 17th century. Also a number of local residents participate in the event to enjoy the Night Cherry Blossom Dancing.
