Shikihide Beya (Shikihide Room) In 1992 a sumo wrestling team headed by the former komusubi (high-ranked) sumo wrestler Oshio established its "Shikihide Headquarters Room" in Sanuki-cho (Sanuki town). This was the first time that a sumo team had ever been headquartered in a provincial town.

Ryugasaki Country Club This golf course uses the natural landscape very effectively. The out course is relatively flat, whereas the in course has many ups and downs, making it difficult.

Ushiku Chateau The Ushiku Chateau is a winery that was established in 1903. The building has a chateaulike structure, very unique for Japan.

Miho Training Center This is a training center for racehorses of the North Kanto region, established in 1978.
