Futamigaura

This beach has two big rocks which are linked by a thick rope. The bigger rock is the male rock and the smaller one is the female rock. It is considered that couples watching the sunrise between these two rocks will have a happy marriage or single persons can pray for a good partner.

Kawasaki

This city by the Setagawa River was built in the Muromachi period and developed in the Yedo period as a result of the Okage pilgrimage boom to Ise. During that period, the city which had good canal waterways, served as the dining room to the pilgrims to Ise. This city is also known for its "Tsumairi" houses which line the street. When seen from afar they look like an inverted blade of a hand-saw. Tsumairi houses have entrances on the side rather than on the front, like the "Hirairi" houses.
