The ruins of Tanabe-jo Castle (Maizuru Park)Tanabe-jo Castle was built by Hosokawa Fujitaka (Yusai), a warrior lord in the turbulent age of the 16th century. The construction of the Tanabe-jo Castle Archives was completed in 1992. The successive castle lords as well as the history of Tanabe castle town are presented in the exhibition room.
