Maizuru Transportation System
On the west side of the town (Nishi-maizuru), the major sightseeing spots, including the Tanabe-jo Castle ruins, are conveniently located in the proximity of the station, while on the east side (Higashi-maizuru), it is recommended to take a taxi or to rent a car to visit coastal facilities since there is little public transportation available.
