Mimiu Sakai Store
This restaurant is famous for its udon-suki, which is a combination of clam, chicken, sea eel, yuba (dried bean curds), and other seasonal vegetables. The main shop is located in Osaka while the original idea of the restaurant was taken from Mimiu-ro, a famous restaurant in Sakai. A luxurious Japanese course dinner is also available.

Kanbukuro
The shop specializing in kurumi-mochi has a very long history since being founded in the Muromachi period (1392 - 1573). One bite size mochi (sweet bean paste wrapped with rice cake) is seasoned with a secret light green sweet sauce, and it is said its chewy texture was favored by the Sen-no Rikyu. In summer, kurumi-mochi with scraped ice is highly recommended. Also kurumi-mochi in a pot is convenient for a take-out souvenir. However, please note that it is preservative free.

The secret of popularity of this restaurant is the home made cooking and very tasty rice.
