The Tsu Yacht HarborThe Tsu Yacht Harbor This yacht harbor, opened in 1972, is one of the biggest yacht harbors in Japan. It was used for the National Sports Festival as well as for the International 470 Class World Yacht Race. You can rent yachts and also stay over at the resort hotel located on the harbor. Yachting schools are held during the summer season.

The Tsu Kairaku Koen (Park)This park, built by the Tsu warlord Todo Takayuki as a summer resort in 1859, is covered with beautiful trees. Water springing from a nearby hillside forms the pond at the center. It was opened to the public in 1877 and named Kairaku Koen (park) but it is now better known as Tsu Park. It is famous for its beautiful cherry blossoms and azalea. Many people visit this park every year. |
