Magaibutsu at Fukurinji TempleThis temple is said to have been made in the Hakuho period (latter half of the seventh century) and continued until the end of the Muromachi period. The temple does not exist anymore, but you can see its remains in the bamboo bushes by the Yasu Junior High School. Here you can see 13 bonze statues, 2 statues of the Buddha, and a statue of the Kannon (goddess of mercy) carved on the hillside.
