The Port of Yokkaichi The Port of Yokkaichi has developed as a major international port. The view of the sun rising over the hills of the Chita Peninsula on a clear day is very beautiful. Also, a ride around the harbor on the ferry boat Inaba, named after the founder of the port city, is a pleasant experience. ●13 minutes by bus from the Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station.

The Teahouse "Shisuian" This teahouse, built in July 1994 in the Unomori Park is a symbol of the fine Ise tea made around this area. This house is also the center of Japanese tradition in Mie Prefecture. ●5 minutes walk from the Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station.

The Australian Dome The cities of Yokkaichi and Sydney have been sister cities for over twenty-five years. This linkage grew out of Yokkaichi's import of Australian wool. The Australian Dome, built at the World Exposition in Osaka in 1970, was transferred to this site at the end of the event. The "sky hook," which looks like a dinosaur, is very impressive. There are exhibits that introduce the nature and traditions of Australia. ●16 minutes by bus from the Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station and 5 minutes walk from the bus station.
