Yamaneko-ken Restaurant Yamaneko-ken
Located in the Miyazawa Kenji Museum premises, this restaurant and its name is based on Miyazawa's folk tale "The Restaurant of Many Orders". At the entrance is a sign that says, "Heavy people and young people are especially welcome." Yamaneko-gayu (porridge) with plenty of vegetables and Yamaneko-suiton (dough ball soup) are popular dishes on the menu.
