Oshiraishimochi-gyouji Festival

This is a festival for surrounding the Goshoden with oshiraishi, white pebbles from the bed of the Isuzu River. These pebbles are given out to volunteers at the Uji Bridge where they are wrapped in white cloth and transported to the Goshoden. The pebbles are then spread around the building.
